Since 1995, our farm has used Soil Restoration products. Since that time we have not only reclaimed our soil from practices under the conventional system, we have never had a germ problem with our seed crops. We have cut our fertilizer costs by more than half. Our yields and quality are better than ever before. Our soil is alive with the organisms it takes to sustain a healthy plant. Anyone that is in the seed industry knows how important germination of a seed is to the quality of the product you are trying to market. Before Soil Restoration we held our breath for germination results on certain crops. It seemed like every year there was a crop that came back with poor germ results from a lab. Our soils weren’t balanced and the plants were missing crucial micro elements. We don't worry about that anymore. We easily meet our germ requirements by relying on Soil Restoration's products and testing.
Vibbert Ranch also reported positive results when aged cows were fed Soil Restoration treated grass seed straw and hay:
The cows all produced calves
There was a 107 lb. increase in the calves weight at weaning over what Vibberts had previously experienced
The increased milk production led to purchasing additional calves to nurse the milk their calves left after they were satisfied
Their calves had no scours
Their calves did not need to be vaccinated prior to sale

We purchased our farm in 1993. The land had been tenant farmed for years growing a variety of crops with chemical fertilizers, leaving the soil unhealthy and unproductive. Seeking to re-vitalize the soil we started using Soil Restoration LLC’s soil amendment products in 1999 and continue to use them to this day.
Our fields look healthier and earthworms have returned. An analysis showed our hay crop was high quality forage, high in protein, high in sugar content, and was ‘minerally’ balanced. Best of all, our horses and cows appear healthier and require less hay. Our hay now brings top dollar at market.
